Ponch and his new partner, Bobby, get off to a rocky start, but when a baby is abandoned, they're determined to work as a team.
2. Tight Fit
After returning stolen equipment from a photo shoot, Ponch ends up in front of the camera and is soon a modeling sensation.
3. The Spaceman Made Me Do It
Ponch and Bobby pursue a jewelry thief who turns out to be a young girl claiming an extraterrestrial made her do it.
4. Rock Devil Rock
The guys are called on to protect a rock star who fears he's cursed, while the squad throws a spooky Halloween party that includes the vampiress Elvira.
5. Speedway Fever
Ponch and Bobby get left in the dust when pursuing bandits on high-speed race bikes. Cadet Bruce Nelson makes a big decision.
6. Something Special
A motorcycle/airplane jump and a treacherous water rescue take a back seat when Ponch changes the life of a Special Olympics competitor.
7. This Year's Riot
The whole CHiPs crew monitors a huge beach party full of romance, drug busts, a Jet Ski rescue and an eye-opening arrest of sunbathing nudists.
8. Head Over Heels
Wealthy divers are targeted for highway robbery, Ponch falls in love, but what could be a fairy-tale wedding is about to end in tragedy.
9. Return to Death's Door
Ponch confronts his reckless past when he encounters the younger brother of an old friend he once raced to a deadly finish.
10. Fallout
Ponch and Bobby come to the rescue when a bus of No Nukes protestors (including Sgt. Getraer's daughter) crashes and explodes into flames.
11. Day of the Robot
HQ gets a robot to help around the office. It's all fun and games for the crew until an electrical short turns the bot into a high-tech threat.
12. Hot Date
Thugs break into Ponch's apartment, taking him and his girlfriend hostage. It's a deadly game of touch-and-go until the CHP arrives to save the day.
13. High Times
In an "explosive" episode, a car thief crashes into a fireworks truck. Bruce goes undercover to bust a chop shop run out of a local high school.
14. Country Action
Ponch and Bobby head to a country-music bar to round up cattle rustlers with assistance from an orangutan, the only witness who can identify them.
15. Journey to a Spacecraft
The CHP is unleashed to crack a dognapping case. Ponch surprises a young and very sick space enthusiast by introducing him to his hero, astronaut Gordon Cooper.
16. Foxtrap
Jewel thieves make their getaway on powerful pocket bikes. The guys save a female rock trio when their big break turns out to be a big bust.
17. Brat Patrol
After a crash, Ponch wants back on duty even though he's still recovering, so he's put in charge of a pack of young Explorers.
18. Firepower
It's the Motorcycle Grand Prix! Ponch and Bobby go undercover to infiltrate an outlaw motorcycle gang responsible for a string of robberies.
19. Fun House
Sgt. Getraer's old fraternity days come back to haunt him with toga parties and pizza-eating contests. Meanwhile, Ponch and Bobby rescue a kidnapped little girl.
20. Fast Company
Ponch and Bruce plan an elaborate escape from a small-town sheriff who is determined to stop them from leaving with a pair of valuable witnesses.
21. Things That Go Creep in the Night
An eccentric comic-book author causes mischief. Ponch jumps into the ocean to save a woman under attack by a bizarre sea creature.
22. Return of the Brat Patrol
Ponch and Bruce have to turn their Explorer troop into a crack basketball team, while a blonde duo steals Sgt. Getraer's car and causes a whole lot of trouble.
