After a run-in with a professional rival, not even gifts, cocktails and the boys' valiant efforts can cheer up Nathan on his 50th birthday; Ross receives professional bad news; Brad regales the boys with stories of his sexual conquests of the past 24 hours.

An encounter with a long-forgotten one-night-stand has Nathan feeling his age; Muscles meets a potential Mr. Right; Ross' cheerful façade cracks.

Living vicariously though his friends' adventures leaves Nathan feeling empty; Ross confesses his recent marital woes; Brad's latest conquest bruises his self-esteem; Muscles has too much in common with Bobby.
