A fiendish med student sells prescription pads to a drug dealer and murders his partner when she becomes too needy. Mark plays Columbo to nail the murderer.
5. The Flame
Steve investigates a murder in which the main suspect is the husband of Mark's old flame. Steve and Jesse date the same girl.
6. The Killer Within
A med student, surrogate daughter to Madison Wesley, is sent to a rehab program to kick drugs. Once there, she's wrongly accused of murdering a fellow patient. Mark sets his sights on bringing down the real culprit.

Hospital horticulturist Claude is revealed to be an escaped convict living under an assumed name for the past 10 years. Mark fights to shelter Claude from extradition while striving to prove his innocence.

Mark takes on a temporary assignment as physician on a cruise ship and sleuths to uncover the killer of a disagreeable man.

A young med student is suspected of killing her abusive husband after her story of murderous burglars proves false.

Steve meets a new girlfriend on a television game show and then investigates when she's killed. Steve suspects her estranged brother, a doctor at Community General.

Doc Sloan goes undercover as a patient in a retirement home to solve the murder of an ex-cop.

Steve teams with a Naval Investigator when the apparent suicide of a military officer turns into a cold-blooded murder.

Mark appears on a quiz show to uncover the killer of a game show contestant.

Mark's old friend, singer Danielle Marsh, visits and begins exhibiting erratic behavior while dodging attempts on her life. Mark attempts to fight through Marsh's defensive barriers to help his friend.

An old friend of med student Alex Martin is mixed up in the murder investigation of an L.A. 'madam'. Mark suspects Alex's friend may be more deeply involved in the madam's business than she lets on. Meanwhile, Madison Wesley is stalked by a homicidal killer who's recently undergone plastic surgery.

Madison moves in with her new paramour, unaware that he's trying to kill her. Jesse is suspected of being the anonymous author of a tell-all book that places hospital workers in spicy relationships.
