After their plane plunges into the Atlantic en route to Boston, the whole gang finds themselves at each others throats and struggling for survival in a leaky lifeboat.
2. The Fortune Cookie
Joe's future is up in the air when Sandpiper Air is grounded by his insurance company, but Brian's plan to save the airline doesn't fly right with Helen.
3. Noses Off
Sandpiper is finally back in business but Joe's nose is broken by a man who mistakes him for Brian. At the surgeon's office, the doctor's observation of a bump on Brian's nose has him obsessing about getting a nose job.
4. Blackout Biggins
Roy is struck out at Fenway Park by his own rendition of the National Anthem, and Fay commits a costly personal foul at work.
5. Mathers of the Heart
Lowell convinces Helen to go on a date with him.
6. Two Jerks and a Jill
Antonio upstages Lowell in front of the Tuesday Night Rat Club, while Brian and Joe are grounded by an attractive helicopter pilot.
7. It's So Nice to Have a Mather Around the House
Brian and Joe gain a new roommate after Brian accidentally sinks Lowell's houseboat.
8. Just Say No
Brian's ex-flame arrives from New York to rekindle the fire and it's up to his friends to keep him from getting burned again.
9. It May Have Happened One Night
After having a few drinks, Alex asks Joe to drive her home and when he arrives late the next day everyone assumes that they spent the night together.
10. The Customer's Usually Right
Joe is irritated about getting charged a rewind fee for a returned video tape which he believes was rewound.
11. Exit Laughing
Helen dates a guy with an annoying laugh. Antonio has trouble with his jerk neighbor.
12. What the Cabbie Saw
Antonio performs his civic duty when he helps bring to court a suspected robber and then testifies against him. But then the suspect gets released on a technicality, and Antonio starts to fear for his life.
13. Labor Pains
When Lowell demands a raise from Joe and Roy, shrewd bargaining tactics by Antonio and Roy leave Lowell dejected and jobless.
14. I've Got a Secret
When Alex tells Antonio and Helen that she posed nude for Playboy while in college, the secret is just too good to keep quiet.
15. The Gift (1)
With an opening in a quartet, Helen wants to try out but her cello is on the bottom of the ocean. She gets a second job to purchase a new cello but things don't go as planned. Lowell, Faye, Roy and Antonio audition for a play.
16. The Gift (2)
Helen gets the quartet role but hates it. However, she doesn't know how to quit without letting Joe and Brian down. Faye, Roy, Antonio and Lowell practice for their awful play.
17. I Love Brian
Hoping to impress Alex, Brian claims to know Clint Black. Helen and Alex are entertained while they expect Brian's scheme to attend a concert and meet him will backfire.
18. The Key to Alex
Joe and Brian, in heated competition, pull out all the stops in a transparent attempt to get closer to Alex.
19. The Houseguest
Helen throws a surprise birthday for Nantucket's most unpopular resident, 70-year-old Carlton Blanchard, who threatens to become a permanent household fixture after suffering a fall in her home.
20. Goodbye, Old Friend
Weeb Gilroy's death has Lowell searching for the right words to eulogize his long time friend. Words fail him at the end and all he can think of is to finish working on the plane they built together.
21. Another Wedding
The crew is invited to the wedding of the air traffic controller.
22. Date Package Number Seven
Alex finally agrees to a date with Brian, only to find out later it was all a set-up.
